You are invited to attend a special event on Saturday
morning May 28 at Osgoode Hall Law School. Please note that we have opened
this event up FOR FREE to the pre-law community - so come one and come all
and forward this email to anybody who you think might be interested. (Note
that the website will be updated to indicate that this particular event is

of Osgoode Hall The University of Windsor and The University Of Ottawa
will be attending to talk about law admissions in general and explain their
LL.B./J.D. Programs in particular. This is a fantastic opportunity to meet
these schools in one place and meet the individuals responsible for admission
and organizing the programs. The participants will include: Gina Alexandris, LL.B. - Assistant Dean, Student Services,
Osgoode Hall Law School, York University Stephane Emard-Chabot - Assistant Dean, Academic Affairs,
Faculty of Law, University Of Ottawa Virginia Shea, LL.B. - Director of the LL.B./J.D. program
at the University of Windsor and the University Of Detroit Further information may be found at: http://www.prep.com/law/guestspeakers.html About LL.B./J.D. Programs: These programs - currently offered at three of the six
Ontario law schools (Windsor, Ottawa and Osgoode) provide students with the
opportunity to earn both Canadian (LL.B.) and U.S. law degrees (J.D) at the
same time. In the case of Windsor the program takes three years and in the
case of Ottawa and Osgoode the program takes four years. Windsor, Ottawa and
Osgoode have created partnerships with U.S. law schools as follows: Windsor - University of Detroit Ottawa - Both Michigan State and American University Osgoode - New York University Law School (NYU) I have written articles about these programs in previous
